I'm hearing good reviews of the actual game. The demo sucked, in my opinion. I think a lot of others thought so too. I'll give it a few days and get more feed back from those I know that have gotten it. Dedicated servers sure would be nice though.

I know Paw also said the demo sucked but it had known issues,I'm loving it so far and i was never a big BF fan.
My biggest beef is the controls,they seemed to have cut them down some from what i remember but there are some you cannot change (or i need to learn how).
To get into a vehicle you must use "E" but i use ZBoard which means i have to lift my hand off the movement keys and move to hit "E" which sucks.
Also there is no toggle prone/crouch which also sucks,all in all though I'm enjoying single player so far,I'll finish it and try online,then I'll really decide if it was worth the money.  |

I think there is no Prone in this game, just crouch.
Blitz, this game seems very similar to 4. More realistic maybe.
Explain what you mean cuz it seems other than fewer game modes
this game would play well in the clan.

Have you tried changing the setting, I mapped several keys to my mouse buttons and there was a joystick catagory
that may work for the zb.

No,no prone and no toggle on crouch,you have to continue to hold the key to stay crouched which sucks due to all of the other key combination you have to keep up with.
Hell Kojak,Blitz has no clue what he wants,a few months ago he was raving about BF 2142 and how we should try it and a month ago he was saying he would never get MW2 unless they had dedi servers,ignore the retard like i do.

i can see into the future also' let me rub my bald head' hmmm a BFBC server will sit empty.  I do know what i want i happen to be playing a game that 90% of the clan im in play everynight'' weve also tried a BF2 server in this clan' (didnt fly) and weve tried a BF2142 server (didnt fly) the longest any game server other then cod was America's Army' and it lasted a month.

I played around with BF2 a couple months back. I didn't like it much, it was ok.
BC2 is different. They seem to have worked on improving the game with this version.
I could barely get a chopper off the ground for 5 mins in BF2.
I jumped on an empty server to try it in BC2 and its awesome.
They somehow worked out some intuitive corrections and its not near as hard as before.
( I know..thats what she said).
While no expert, I was flying around destroying buildings having a ball.
There are some server connection issues that are being ironed out but
overall a much better product than the previous BF games.
Big maps , lots of people.
The number of full servers rivales CoD4 in its HeyDay.

only tru differnce is the graphic's The 900 controls are the same' BF2 is the best BF game out' and now after the new patch you can at least get a kill without empting 2 clips into someone. Want a true clan game with dedi servers go to Day of Defeat Source or Counter strike Source.

That's not so Blitz,my biggest complaint about BF was the controls but this one stands on par with any COD game,they have been cut dramatically,my only issues is locked keys that can't be programmed (or i need to figure it out one).
It's been awhile since i played any BF series but BC doesn't have close to the number of controls as the others in the series.
It's a good game,it may be somewhat of a spin off from MW2 but it at least has dedi servers. |

I screwed up my username somehow and was unable to get Scre3m. So I don't know what name I'll use yet. 
Thinking on DragonMax, Screeem, Scree3m, etc. Haven't decided. I terrible at call signs.
